Introducing the A-LUX ForgeMark 100

Portable Industrial Fiber Laser Marking—Built for the Real World
A-LUX is proud to introduce the ForgeMark 100, our new portable industrial fiber laser marking system designed for permanent part identification, traceability, fabrication marking, and industrial production environments.
Built around a powerful 100W fiber laser, ForgeMark 100 gives manufacturers and fabricators the ability to permanently mark steel and other compatible metals with text, serial numbers, part numbers, logos, barcodes, QR codes, and other traceability information—without inks, labels, stamps, or consumable marking media.
But ForgeMark was designed to be more than another laser marker.
From portability and operator controls to beam containment and external warning-system integration, A-LUX engineered the ForgeMark 100 around the realities of working inside an active industrial facility.
Permanent. Precise. Powerful.
Traditional part marking often depends on manual stamping, paint markers, labels, engraving equipment, or other processes that can be slow, inconsistent, consumable-intensive, or difficult to automate.
The ForgeMark 100 uses a non-contact fiber laser to create permanent identification directly on the workpiece.
Depending on the material and application, ForgeMark can produce:
Serial numbers and part numbers
QR codes and barcodes
Company logos and branding
Asset identification
Production and traceability information
Text and alphanumeric markings
Deep engraved markings up to approximately 0.5 mm
Custom marking layouts
With a marking field of up to approximately 3" × 3", operators can quickly change marking content without changing physical tooling.
Take the Marker to the Part
One of the biggest advantages of ForgeMark 100 is portability.
Instead of requiring large components, pipe, fabricated assemblies, or equipment to be brought to a stationary marking machine, ForgeMark can be brought directly to the workpiece.
The system operates from standard 110–120V power, making it practical for use throughout manufacturing facilities, fabrication shops, pipe yards, maintenance operations, and other industrial environments.
For companies currently relying on manual stamping of large or difficult-to-handle components, this can dramatically simplify the marking process.
A Proprietary Beam Shroud Designed for Industrial Use
Laser safety was an important part of the ForgeMark design.
The ForgeMark marking head incorporates an A-LUX proprietary beam shroud that surrounds the marking area and helps block direct line-of-sight access to the laser interaction zone.
This is especially valuable when working around large components or inside active manufacturing facilities where complete isolation of the workpiece may be difficult.
The shroud also incorporates controlled airflow to help protect the marking optics from smoke, particulate, and process debris generated during marking.
Rather than treating beam control as an accessory, A-LUX designed it directly into the marking head.
Dual-Point Substrate Contact Interlock
ForgeMark 100 also incorporates a dual-point substrate contact interlock.
Two independent contact points located at the bottom of the beam shroud must be engaged against the work surface before laser emission can be enabled.
If the marking head is lifted away from the substrate or is not properly positioned, the firing circuit is interrupted.
This engineered control helps reduce the possibility of unintended laser emission while the marking head is being moved, handled, or repositioned.
It is one more layer of protection incorporated directly into the system rather than relying solely on operator procedure.
Integration With Facility Laser Warning Systems
Industrial laser systems do not operate in isolation from the facility around them.
ForgeMark 100 includes an auxiliary contact output that can be integrated with compatible external laser warning systems.
Facilities can use the output to activate a warning beacon or other signaling equipment when the laser system is enabled, helping integrate ForgeMark into established Class 4 laser safety procedures and controlled-area practices.
Touchscreen Control With Wireless Keyboard and Mouse
Operators can control ForgeMark directly through its integrated touchscreen interface.
For applications requiring frequent entry of serial numbers, part numbers, text, QR-code information, or other variable data, the system also includes a wireless keyboard and mouse.
That gives operators two ways to work:
Touch the screen for fast machine adjustments or use the wireless controls for more efficient data entry and editing.
For production environments where marking information changes from part to part, that flexibility can make a significant difference in workflow.
Designed for Traceability
Manufacturing traceability is becoming increasingly important across industries.
Permanent laser marking allows information to remain directly attached to the component rather than depending on a label or tag that can become damaged, removed, or separated from the part.
A QR code, serial number, or other laser-marked identifier can become the connection between the physical component and a company's digital manufacturing records, inspection documentation, asset database, or quality-control system.
ForgeMark 100 gives manufacturers a practical way to bring that capability directly onto the production floor.
Built Around Real Industrial Applications
ForgeMark 100 was developed for applications such as:
Pipe and structural fabrication
Manufacturing and assembly
Equipment identification
Industrial asset marking
Part serialization
Quality-control traceability
Repair and maintenance operations
Large components that are difficult to move
Low-volume custom marking
Production marking where information changes from part to part
The objective was straightforward:
Build an industrial marking system that can go to the work instead of forcing the work to come to the marking machine.
More Than a Laser Source
A-LUX does not believe industrial laser equipment should simply arrive in a crate with a manual.
ForgeMark 100 customers receive the same emphasis on training, safety, operation, maintenance, and application development that A-LUX brings to our laser cleaning systems.
A-LUX equipment is engineered, trained, and supported in Texas, with lifetime after-sales support available to the original owner.
Because ForgeMark 100 is a Class 4 laser system, proper laser safety procedures, operator training, PPE, controlled-area practices, and facility-specific safety requirements remain essential.
A New Addition to the A-LUX Laser Lineup
The ForgeMark 100 represents the beginning of a new category for A-LUX.
Alongside our industrial laser cleaning systems, ForgeMark brings laser technology into permanent identification, serialization, traceability, and production marking.
And this is only the beginning.
As customer applications continue to develop, A-LUX intends to expand our marking capabilities around the same principles that guide our cleaning systems:
industrial durability, practical engineering, operator safety, training, and real-world support.
