Lifting Power: A-LUX Lasers at New Heights — Literally

There are moments in industrial work that stop you in your tracks—and seeing an A-LUX laser suspended high in the air by a crane is one of them.

In our latest YouTube Short, you’ll catch a dramatic 16-second clip of an A-LUX system hoisted far above the ground, rigged securely by its integrated lifting eye rings and guided into place with surgical precision. It’s not just for show—this laser is being deployed to one of the most logistically challenging sites we’ve ever worked: a 135-foot-tall industrial tower requiring multi-level decontamination and rust removal.

The Project: Elevating the Standard

This particular tower presented a major logistical puzzle. With limited access, vertical orientation, and demanding cleaning specs, we did something no other team had done before:We deployed five A-LUX laser systems at once—each staged at a different height on the tower, operating simultaneously.

Using a combination of A-LUX 1000W-PW and 2000W-CW systems, our team cleared coatings, rust, and contamination from steel and concrete surfaces—delivering a level of cleanliness and precision that only laser ablation can offer.

Built for Rigging. Engineered for Safety.

Every A-LUX system is designed with real-world application in mind. Our rugged chassis includes certified lifting and rigging eye rings so systems can be:

  • Safely hoisted by crane or forklift

  • Staged on elevated platforms or catwalks

  • Rigged for vertical operations where access is limited

Whether you're cleaning offshore rigs, power plant stacks, or telecom towers, lifting safety is non-negotiable. Our equipment is built to meet industrial rigging standards and is tested in the field—not just in theory.

Lifting & Rigging: Key Safety Reminders

When elevating heavy laser systems, keep these fundamentals in mind:

  • Inspect all lifting hardware before use (slings, shackles, hooks)

  • Use only certified lifting points—A-LUX lasers come with engineered eye rings rated for vertical loads

  • Clear the drop zone—no one should be under a suspended load, ever

  • Coordinate with signal personnel when visibility is limited

  • Use tag lines to control spin or sway during hoisting

  • Document rigging plans for all elevated deployments

A-LUX lasers aren’t just built for power—they’re built for the environments where power meets precision.
